Sad Goodbye to Bubblews

It is a sad goodbye to Bubblews. I joined in February 2013. It was a rocky road to say the least with building and making new friends and connections.

The spammers and scammers made it nearly impossible at first causing the team to make changes in which I lost my profile for nearly 4 months. When the new and improved version came out in July 2014 everyone rejoiced thinking all is well.

Well for some that meant writing their hearts out just to be cheated out of their income by December. I however not being the real money making individual received full payment for the redemption in December 31, 2014 although it took months to do it.

Once again, Arvind Dixit promised greater changes for 2015 trying to keep everyone hopeful. Well that great change never happened. I worked 11 1/2 months only to have banked $7.17, which I am cheated out of due to the closing of the site. When I logged on November 18th this is what I saw.

Greetings,
After being up and running for almost 3 years now we regrettably need to inform you that we will be shutting Bubblews.com down. The climate for display advertising has drastically changed and made it impossible for us to sustain the business model and operations.
We want to thank everyone that was a part of this journey. We wish you all the very best.
–Bubblews

I guess I am not surprised as in the spring Arvind Dixit launched a new site and really abandoned Bubblews making everyone question where is the Bubblews Support team. I was ripped off of $25.00 when the change was made in August 2013. Arvind personally told me that was simply a glitch and I would receive it. Well as of the closing of Bubblews I am still owed that $25.00 and the $7.17 that was in my bank the last time I was able to log on and check it. I found this petition online and question if I should file against them. I saved the picture of the back payment for a long time, however, as of late had given up and deleted it.

I guess for any future writers, if you see this name as the CEO you may want to think twice before joining. Arvind closed the site without warning and taking many writers posts with them. In reality add Bubblews, to yet another failed attempt at earning money online leaving me with many broken backlinks.

Go Fund Me

I had never heard of gofundme.com until this morning when my nephew Todd set up an account to help his ex wife and daughter. In December, Amber was in the backseat of her mom’s car when a drunk driver hit them. This has left them with medical problems and other needs.

Todd is so frustrated living several states away from his daughter. When I asked him for a quote this is what he had to say, “It's hard to get a lot of the facts, Pammy, it is so frustrating right now, I try to help her I can only do so much, and therefore, that is why I set up this Go Fund Me thing. Heck when I even asked her to give me her information so I could add it to the account, so that she can get the money directly; she tells me that she doesn't have time to mess with stuff like that.”

Many people will help with animal rights in every conceivable way are you willing to help a young girl and mother in need? This young girl happens to be my great niece.

Merry Christmas

As I was growing up, everyone wished everyone Merry Christmas, now days it is rare to hear anyone wish you a Merry Christmas, unless it is someone you personally know.

While shopping in stores, even on Black Friday, you may be greeted with Happy Holiday. On television, you will hear about Holiday Trees and cards. These so-called trees are evergreen trees that are decorated with glass bulbs, lights, angels, card and tinsel.

Cards made for this very specific holiday aka Jesus’ Birthday or Christmas, is often referred to as a holiday card. Oh my goodness, if you are making, buying and sending a card on Christmas, what is wrong in calling it a Christmas card?

It is explained away as they do not want to offend non-Christians, however, how many Christians are being offended with a Happy Holiday or a Season’s Greeting? We are celebrating the birth of Christ on December 25th, what are they celebrating?

Matthew 1:18-21 Now this is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
19 Joseph, her fiancee, being a just man, decided to break the engagement quietly, so as not to disgrace her publicly.
20 As he considered this, he fell asleep, and an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. "Joseph, son of David," the angel said, "do not be afraid to go ahead with your marriage to Mary. For the child within her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.
21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

I Have been Busy

Since being home from my Grandparents Day Kentucky trip, I have been playing catch up on many things. I had neglected writing for Bubblews so definitely had to get caught up. Saturday much of the day was multi-tasking doing a bit of everything in-between cooking down my largest pumpkin.

After church on Sunday, I did some Christmas shopping and think I am nearly done, well except minor purchases and wrapping everything. Of course, with my husband being home alone for a week, I had dishes, laundry and a house to clean. I also have my clients that awaiting their turn.

Yesterday Indiana was windy and cold which was perfect timing for baking the pumpkin bread I am taking to church for the Thanksgiving meal for the community and share with our own family in Thanksgiving celebrations.

Tonight is pumpkin soup night, the big pumpkin I cooked down provided me with 30-cups of processed pumpkin puree`.  Friday or Saturday I will make Gluten-free pumpkin bread for my sis.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving everyone.

Time Slipping Away

Time is slipping away, not only the summer as school once again resumes next week, but also with my family growing up so quickly.

My baby girl, my granddaughter Zeely will be in Kindergarten next week. I am watching her this last year grow up through pictures. They came up for Easter, I went down in May to attend the preschool graduation and on the 4th of July we met ½ way in Kokomo to see Dave do his first skydive. I sincerely do not know when I will see them next with the busy schedules everyone has.

Time is slipping away for me, is it for you?

Oh What a Beautiful Day

OK she is naked :)
Setting outside in KY at my daughter's home it is such a beautiful day. It is 77 degrees, sunshine and a wonderful breeze. My 5 1/2-year old granddaughter was splashing in her pool grandpa allowed me to buy, lawn and garden work is being done by my son-n-law and tonight he will cook a trash can turkey. Yum yum.

I drove down Wednesday morning for the preschool graduation and here it is Saturday afternoon already and I will head home tomorrow morning.
Our snail finding walk.

I do not appreciate the long drive but it has been so worth it. I love family time and there simply has not been enough of it.

Extremely Sorry about Being Inactive

I am so extremely sorry about being inactive as of late; the whole month of March I was down with shingles.
Also, between working on a poor functioning Bubblews and RedGage, I have also visited the summer cottage at Dewart Lake to get it open for the season.

Worst of all, is attempting to work with dial-up no matter where I am.

Even working on this blog is a challenge as half the time I attempt to load a photograph is a bust. I guess in essence working online has just lost my love and attention.

Sorry I have been Busy on Bubblews

Sorry it has been so long since I have written anything. My incentive kind of crumbled when I was not actually making money through Amazon.

I have not posted anything on Seekyt either so I didn't need a backlink. In essence I just got lazy this winter.

This winter has been frigid cold and causing me to become dormant. In my dormant state I post articles on Bubblews and upload photographs to RedGage where I attempt to make some money. With Bubblews it is a slow process, however, I am earning, with RedGage not so much, but I do love taking photographs so it gives me an outlet to use them.

Do You Write for Bubblews

Do you write for the site Bubblews? I started in February 8, 2013 and was slightly impressed in the beginning. It took me 7 weeks to reach the first $25.00 payout but others were saying how much they were making so I kept plugging away.

A couple of months into joining Bubblews there was a major uproar with many writers as they claimed they had not been paid. They were writing posts expressing their dislike and Bubblews team would remove them. At first, I thought they must be doing something wrong and maybe it is just a misunderstanding.

In August, I made enough to be paid the 8th redemption point of $25.00. I hit the green button; however, I have never seen this payment. September 1st, the admin Arvind, finally wrote back and said they would take care of the problem that there had been a glitch in the upgrade of the site. Well now, it is December 20th and still no money and it seems no one cares. Still many writers claiming they are not seeing missing payments. Thank goodness for me it is just the one.

Even more writers are expressing their unhappiness with lack of payment and or communication. I have attempted multiple times to communicate with the support team and Arvind about different issues and never get answers.

This last frustration is that ¼ of my posts have been flagged as inappropriate; which any Tom, Dick or Harry can do. It is a simple click of a link. Some writers feel it is fun to flag others posts. There is a dislike button; the reader could hit it if they did not like the post, but some choose to flag it.

On Monday, I again contacted Bubblews Support and the founder Arvind. Arvind responded saying he had read my emails but had been busy. I took my time to research every title and copied down the URL’s and on Wednesday with another detailed letter asked why were they flagged and what will be done about it? Since I have been told my earnings depend on my posts not being flagged, it is a very important question.

If you write for Bubblews are you satisfied? Have you had any issues of your own and have they been resolved?

Homemade Mashed Potato Doughnuts

Nothing beats eating mom's mashed potato doughnuts on a cold winters day. In Northern Indiana the extra warmth from baking is welcomed in the kitchen.

Gluten-Free Sausage Bread Roll With Cheese

Gluten-Free sausage bread roll with cheese is a great recipe and a great way to control the gluten that you get in your diet. For many with Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance this is very important. Try making gluten-free sausage bread roll with cheese. The first thing you will need to do is either find gluten-free bread dough or make your own. Making your own gluten-free bread dough is more work, however, you will be ensured to avoid the gluten.

July 4th at the Cottage

Well I actually came up to the cottage July 3 and I am staying until Monday am when I go straight to the gym to exercise. It has been a great break.

I had plenty of good juicy watermelon.

I've seen birds, turtles; small and ex-large, old friends, family

and of course fireworks from all the neighbors and the ones the lake association shot off over the lake.

And homegrown green beans and tators that my husband picked, cleaned, cooked and delivered to me at the cottage.

Oh. I did do a little work on Bubblews and RedGage, since I  have the luxury of using someone elses high speed WI-FI. Life at Dewart Lake can be so good.

Sorry It's Been So Long

I am sorry it's been so long in-between posts, on top of the usual dial-up connections issues I've had a set back with my vision. Apparently the first weekend in June I suffered an eye stroke, no clue a person could even do this, however, I am one of the unlucky ones.

You can read one of my adventures on Bubblews called Reduce the Stress in Your Life or
Eye Had a Very Frustrating Day or How Do You Handle Misunderstandings

However, I will not let it rest there. I know I serve the God of healing and praying for full recovery. The doctors may say there is nothing they can do, but my God is mighty and nothing is impossible for him.

Spring has Sprung at Dewart Lake

Spring has finally arrived at Dewart Lake, today it is 66 degrees and most sunny. The sky is blue with white clouds scattered about. This morning I spent the time in the cottage doing some spring-cleaning; might I say yuck, however it needs it and if I do a little each time up it’s not as hard to do. The harder part will be later this summer when scraping of old paint and touch up painting is done.

About 2 o’clock, I said enough is enough and decided to come out and enjoy the sun. I did trim the grass a bit, in case the neighbors decide to mow. About 45 minutes to an hour later, I decided I was glad I had a pair of shorts. It was no nice to feel the sun on the skin again.

The lake is alive with boats, fishermen, kayakers and I do not know what the other things were. They were like wave runner or skidoo; however, they were standing up.

The birds are active too. I have seen red winged black birds, male and female, blue heron, bald eagle, geese, ducks, swans, nuthatch, blue jay and some little bird that is unfamiliar to me.

At first, I thought it was a baby duck, however, no parents around so that was unlikely. Getting a good look at them is challenging too as soon as you try to focus, they submerge and swim under water and pop up where they are not expected.

Of course, as I am writing I still have my camera near by in hopes to get even a better picture of the Bald Eagle. Although, I think it will be touch beating the photograph of him/her capturing a fish for lunch. If you have not seen that great capture, you can see it on RedGage or Bubblews.

In the mean time I am enjoying this beautiful day filled with sunshine, how about you?
