As my husband was leaving he looked up in the tree and there sat the pair of eagles by their nest. I can not help myself I had to grab the camera, to me the viewing of the eagles never get old.

Dewart Lake Visit
My visit this weekend to the Dewart Lake summer cottage in Syracuse Indiana, proved once again to be critter filled. This is only a portion of the animals I saw. It is truly amazing to watch God's beauty.

Hi! Just wanted to stop by, as a new follower and hopefully, soon to be lake lubber! My hubs and I are planning on moving into a small house on Dewart Lake this summer. We have lived in Warsaw for over 25 years and are soon-to-be empty-nesters. I found your blog on google and was so thrilled to find another blogger, lake-lover, and sister in Christ! And then, to find out you have a summer cottage on Dewart thrilled me!! We are so excited to be moving there soon. Your pictures are wonderful. I didn't realize the bald eagle population was so big there. Looking forward to reading more of your posts!

This is Ann again. I was just reading your other writing blog, too, and read the 'About' description you have there. I read that you go to New Song Community Church in Plymouth...well, I used to work with and am friends with Sue Wagoner. She knows my family well! What a small world. My family goes to Warsaw Community Church. If you would be interested in getting to know each other more, my email is apop12341@hotmail.com or I am also on facebook under Ann Popenfoose. I wonder if your cottage is near where we will be moving to. It is on the east side of the lake, a few blocks from the public launch.
