Using recycled Christmas or birthday cards to make gift tags is a good way to recycle as well as make your Christmas gift tags personalized. Making Christmas gift tags from old recycled Christmas cards is nothing new. Many churches, such as the First Brethren Church in which I was raised, had an organization for the tween/teen aged girls called Sisterhood. One of the fund raising ideas we had was to collect old cards and make Christmas card gift tags to sell to the congregation and extended family members. It’s is also a great way to spend time with your children or grandchildren making gift tags for your own gifts.
