Cosmos Flower

According to Wikipedia, “Cosmos is native to scrub and meadow areas in Mexico where most of the species occur, Florida and the southern United States, Arizona, Central America, and to South America in the north to Paraguay in the south.”

Bees love the Cosmos too.

However, I live in Northern Indiana and have had Cosmos growing for several years. They are a tall beautiful flower with various color blooms in which thrive in a sunny location.

  4. They may be native to southern climes but they grow just as well up here in the northeast as well. So nice that you still have some blooming as the colder weather moves in.
